I’ll be honest: I’ve been drinking way too much coffee for the past couple of years, and a little too much alcohol (beer and red wine mostly, I don’t enjoy liquor that much).
Neither has caused any major issues, but both have had minor negative effects on me. Mostly anxiety (coffee) and mood swings (alcohol).
So I decided to have a Sober October and see how I feel at the end of it. My plan is to replace coffee and alcohol to drinking green tea (hot and iced) and kombucha.
I’m sharing this with you because it’ll help me be less likely to break my commitment. At the end of the month, I’ll update this post and report how I’m feeling. My hope is that I’ll feel a lot more calm and focused, and hopefully drop a few pounds. We’ll see.
