Hey friend! Hope you’ve been well. It’s early Saturday morning on January 27th, 2024 here in Fort Worth Texas. It’s been raining this weekend but hasn’t been too cold.
I survived the holiday season and am now preparing for an upcoming tour in late February and March. The to-do list was long, but I’ve been steadily working through it.
Next up is putting together a big t-shirt and hoodie order, and creating drum kits for all our songs in the Roland SPDX Pro electronic drum pad that I bought a few weeks ago.
Speaking of tour, here are the dates we’re playing:
2/22/24 - Shreveport, LA -Louisiana Grandstand - Tickets
2/23/24 - Birmingham, AL - Saturn - Tickets
2/24/24 - Atlanta, GA - Vinyl at Center Stage -Tickets
2/25/24 - Asheville, NC - The Grey Eagle - Tickets
2/29/24 - Charlotte, NC - Visulite Theatre - Tickets
3/1/24 - Nashville, TN - THe Basement East - Tickets
3/2/24 - Lexington, KY - The Burl - Tickets
3/3/24 - Indianapolis, IN - HI-FI Indianapolis - Tickets
3/7/24 - Columbus, OH - A&R Music Bar - Tickets

3/9/24 - Evanston, IL - SPACE - Tickets
3/10/24 - St. Paul, MN - Amsterdam Bar & Hall - Tickets
3/13/24 - Omaha, NE - The Waiting Room - Tickets
3/14/24 - Kansas City, MO - Knuckleheads - Tickets
3/15/24 - Oklahoma City, OK - Beer City Music Hall - Tickets
3/16/24 - Dallas, TX The Echo Lounge - Tickets
These are all venues and cities we’ve never played before (Dallas and OKC excluded), so I’m really looking forward to it. If there’s one thing I love, it’s going to new places and playing shows!
In other news, I’ve decided to start a new video series called “Tour Notes: Stories from the Road”.
It’ll be a chance for me to exercise and develop my storytelling and content creation skills, and hopefully serve as insipiration and insight for other people who might be wondering how to do what we’re doing.
I know I would have loved to see that kind of documenatation when I was younger, so I’m gonna give it my best shot. I think I’ve got everything I need now, between my Sony A7C, my iPhone, the GoPro, and the ability to record and edit quality audio and video.
Time is the only limiting factor, but I think it’d be better to capture as much as possible, and then worry about the edit later. I’ll need something to do when we get back from tour anyways, so I’m excited to see where this leads.
I think that’ll be it for now, I need to go get this merch order figured out. Be well and I’ll see you again soon.
